Yûki Furukawa to attend 2014 Japan Film Festival

It has been announced that Japanese actor Yûki Furukawa will be a special guest of honor for the 2014 Japan Film Festival of San Francisco where he will be attending the special U.S. theatrical premiere of “wo ai ni” in Tokyo. This critically acclaimed short film will be shown at New People Cinema on July 20th at 4:20 PM and is being held alongside the 2014 J-Pop Summit Festival.

Yûki Furukawa has starred in movies such as Mischievous Kiss: Love In Tokyo and this time he is working with director Koto Nagata for the film. Those who attend the screening, with tickets starting at $15 each, will also be able to ask Furukawa questions in a Q&A event after the film. The movie itself involves a young sales clerk at a bike shop meeting a Taiwanese girl who is traveling alone and having an issue with the lanuage of the land.
