‘ScoreStreak™’ Aims to Revolutionize The Daily Fantasy Sports Game

New Silicon Valley Startup Offers All the Excitement and Fun of Fantasy Without the Grind

San Mateo, Calif.–May 8, 2014–ScoreStreak, a new daily fantasy sports site, has launched today, offering a new twist on the growing daily fantasy sports genre. ScoreStreak’s patent pending format lets you pick top players for your daily fantasy lineup and score points when they complete objectives in their real life games. ScoreStreak’s objective-based lineups eliminate the complex scoring systems and salary cap restrictions of traditional daily fantasy sites that many players find to be a hurdle. ScoreStreak wants to bring the joy of daily fantasy sports to all sports fans – not just the ones with advanced math degrees. Players can sign up to compete at www.scorestreak.com and play for free or try one of the many real money contests.

In ScoreStreak, lineups are comprised of three categories, each with three levels of objectives. For example, in ScoreStreak’s baseball competitions there are two hitting categories (Hits and

Total Bases) and one pitching category (Strikeouts). For the Strikeouts category, users pick pitchers to meet the objectives of 9, 7, and 6 strikeouts. ScoreStreak’s objective levels are based on historical stats, posing a challenge for even the best players. ScoreStreak’s difficult objectives reward users with fourteen (14) points, moderate objectives reward eight (8) points, and the lowest objectives reward five (5) points. ScoreStreak users can slot any player they like into each objective, but the strategy and skill behind decisions becomes quickly apparent.

“Daily fantasy sports have become massively popular over the last few years,” said Ross Borden, CEO and co-founder of ScoreStreak. “However, there is still a huge untapped group of passionate sports fans that aren’t playing and our mission is to get them in the game.”

ScoreStreak closed a $1.2 million round of seed funding in Q1 of 2014. ScoreStreak can be played on any smart phone or computer, and will soon be available in the iOS app store.
