At the beginning of the year, Unity Technologies announced that they had partnered with Sony to bring their popular Unity development platform to the PS Vita. Well today, the partnership has gone one step further, with a public preview of Unity for PlayStation Mobile going live today. A select few developers have had access to the Beta version for a little while, but now this is being expanded to include developers from an additional 12 countries.
In addition, The PlayStation Mobile Developer Program (which aims to provide support to developers creating content for PlayStation Mobile) will expand to an additional 12 countries starting from May 29th. Sony plans to continue supporting both the beta and public versions of Unity for PSM, as well as the Mobile Developer Program to ensure that the best content possible is being published for its platforms.
