The Game of Thrones: Iron Throne tour begins this Thursday in Australia, with Melbournian fans of the fantasy drama being the first to be able to sit upon the much regarded throne themselves at Federation Square. The event will be host to a great competition, with the ‘most creative’ photo of a person or group sitting on the throne taking home their very own replica of the Iron Throne, a worthy addition to anyone’s kitchen table. Entrants will have to jump on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and upload their best Game of Thrones fan pic using the hashtag #GoTfoxtel. Other giveaways such as boxsets and official merchandise will also be happening on the day.

The Iron Throne tour is being hosted by Foxtel, who screen the HBO television series here in Australia. Game of Thrones Season 4 begins airing in Australia on the 7th of April, 2 hours after it airs in the U.S. Time and location details about the Iron Throne Tour are below.
