With Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze’s launch on the horizon Nintendo have released a new launch trailer for the game and it looks and sounds stunning. The trailer showcases a number of new levels and bosses as well as some story cutscenes. The levels have great variety in them and seem to mix a bunch of new themes in with the old. Nostalgic viewers will notice the buzzsaw and aquatic world themes from Donkey Kong Country 3 making a return as well as a number of themes from Donkey Kong Country Returns such as the silhouette stages and rocket levels.
A new track by famous composer David Wise is also revealed and he has done a great job of capturing that sense of nostalgia while providing a new and great sounding track.
