PROJECT X ZONE
Back when Project x Zone was announced in Japan, many of us in the West thought that the title would never make its way to our shores. When a localization announcement was made it not only surprised many people but it also was met with a fair amount of fanfare. Not only was this a chance to see many characters make their trip to the West for the first time in over a decade, but it also brought a few characters that have never been released in the West with it as well.
The game took everything fans would want from a crossover such as this; creating an enjoyable storyline with plenty of fan-service moments where players could pair up characters from various series and see how they interact and tying everything together with enjoyable gameplay. Project X Zone has paved the way for crossover titles in the West and shown that they can not only be well received by critics but also welcome to fans who have seen multiple crossover games remain unlocalized in the past. – Travis Bruno
