Hot on the heels of the game’s announcement last week, Namco Bandai has released Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Full Boost’s first set of debut screenshots. They showcase the myriad of mobile suits to be included in the PlayStation 3 port, up 20 more than the previous game’s 70 playable suits. Check them out below.

For those curious how this arcade fighter works, here’s the rundown. You battle enemy Gundams and suits in stages via modes such as Arcade and online multiplayer. Each suit is worth a certain amount of points, with better units costing more. You and your teammates have a total number of points that decrease when one is shot down, equal to the cost of the unit. The aim is to whittle down the enemy team’s points first.

Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Full Boost is coming to Japan on PlayStation 3 in 2014 and will be playable at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. If you want to get your hands on what many consider the most entertaining Gundam game, your best bet is to import it.
