343 Industries in conjunction with 7Hz Productions have today released Volume 2 of the stunning Halo 4: Original Soundtrack. The 20-track digital release can be purchased and downloaded from iTunes or Amazon for only $9.99.

This companion volume features an “expanded landscape of the key musical themes from the game”, laid out in chronological order. 11 of the 20 tracks are composed and produced by Neil Davidge with the other 9 by 343 Industries’ in-house composer Kazuma Jinnouchi. Included amongst those is Kazuma’s new interpretation of Martin O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori’s iconic “Never Forget” from Halo 3.

To commemorate the release as part of “Halo Week: Drop Shock” (which started with the release of the Castle Map Pack for Halo 4), Xbox will also be giving away a limited number of download codes for the soundtrack via their Twitter page. Please read the official rules, terms and conditions before entering.

You can also purchase a special bundle of the Halo 4: Limited Edition Soundtrack Box Set and the digital release of Volume 2 here.
