Dead or Alive 5 Plus heads to North America in Q1 2013; new details revealed

You may have heard over the weekend that Team Ninja is planning on bringing Dead or Alive 5 to the PlayStation Vita in the form of Dead or Alive 5 Plus. What we didn’t know at that time was what would be added into the game to make this version of the game special and considered a “Plus.”

Well today the company revealed a number of special features which will only be available on the Vita version of the game. These features include the ability to “interact directly with the characters using the Vita’s touch screens” and there is also a mode that will allow you to fight against your opponent in a first person view. Just imagine the possibilities there…

It is also worth noting that various moves can be performed by tapping or swiping the touch screen. Currently there is no word about whether or not any of the previously released DLC costumes will be available on-cartridge or as paid DLC for this version of the game once it is released sometime in Q1 2013.
