Now whenever a title is developed solely for one platform, some gamers will complain that the title they wanted to play so badly is now on a platform that they have no access too. Other titles suffer heavily from being multi-platform as certain versions begin to feel like tacked on ports that suffer in quality compared to the main system it was developed for.

However one title has stood out on all the platforms as one of the best all-around games on each platform it was released on and that was The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Compared to past titles in The Elder Scrolls series, Skyrim feels more accustomed to the consoles than ever before with a simpler and easy to navigate menu screen and a quick to access favorite system for weapons/spells/powers the degree of difficulty to pick up and play is easier than ever. For those who want a bit tougher experience there is also the PC platform which opens up gamers to a whole world of possibilities as community built mods enhance the title or add in various features not originally included in the title, allowing players to truly customize their gaming experience. That is what makes Skyrim the best multi-platform title this year.

When it comes to multiplayer games, there was none that measured up to the experience on show in Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.

In a game that many would not consider to necessary require the mode,  Revelations takes the groundwork laid out from its predecessor and polishes it until it’s golden. Sitting amongst a sea of obvious multiplayer titles such as first person shooters and sports games, this release is without a doubt a breath of fresh air.

With its unique multiplayer gameplay, there is absolutely nothing else on the market that even comes close to the fresh experience available to players in Revelations. If you are tired of the standard types of multiplayer, then Assassin’s Creed is fast becoming the killer multiplayer title for many gamers.

This is why Revelations is undoubtedly the best multiplayer title of the year. Resquicat de Pace other multiplayer titles, you have been assassinated by those who live by the creed.
