Here is some surprising news. In a recent chart by ERA (via MCV), it was revealed that singer Adele sold more of her album “21” than than Modern Warfare 3 sold altogether in the U.K. This is quite a feat for the young artist who has made quite a name for herself over the past year and if anything could topple COD’s reign, it is a bit pleasing to see that Adele was the victor.
Ranked under Modern Warfare 3’s 2nd place position is Fifa 12, Battlefield 3, Zumba Fitness, and Skyrim. Of course this chart (which can be seen below) represents the entertainment industry as a whole, and there is no doubt that COD raked in the most cash for the region. I however still find it a bit sad that “Paul” would be anywhere above The Elder Scrolls on any list.
