While a few games have been announced to make use of the 3DS Slide Pad, none of them are as prevalent in the West as Resident Evil: Revelations. When it was announced that Resident Evil: Revelations would make use of the attachment which adds another control pad, fans were apprehensive as to what they should expect if they didn’t feel like shelling out the extra $20 for the attachment.
Famitsu revealed that the extra circle pad would be used simply for aiming in the title. The left pad will be used for moving and the right for turning and aiming. This is extremely underwhelming and seems like something that only people who desperately want two circle pads will want to purchase.
