I’m not in to MMO’s but this seems like a pretty cool idea.

Yeah I’m not the most avid MMO fan, but I couldn’t resist posting an article about this. I love Digimon and I will have to give this a go when it’s eventually released. Look’s great 🙂

      • Cellophane Girl

I’d play MMO’s if I didn’t have to interact with people.
I don’t know why but I get really anxious trying to play online with strangers. Even sometimes when playing with people I know.
        Yeah, I’m a freak. 😉

  • I can’t stand MMO’s, I hate them to death.

But I HAVE to buy this game!

    • Wait, apparently its free? Is this right?
Im hitting the shout box! haha

      • Cellophane Girl

Nothing that looks this good would be free.

The screen shots look cool. When you think about it why hasn’t this already happened? The Digimon series takes place in the digital world, it would make sense for there to be an MMO.

    • Cellophane Girl

I agree it makes perfect sense. The whole set up for the series is perfect for an MMO.

The game looks interesting and it is also Free 2 Play with revenue through micro transactions. Apparently there will be 3 classes and over 100 digimon to capture.

The game is being released by Joymax and all their games are F2P.

    • Cellophane Girl

Oh that’s cool. Micro transactions can be very dangerous though.
I played Maple Story for like 2 months and spent 30 dollars on those micro transactions.
Then I realized I was being stupid spending money on things that aren’t even real, that I don’t need.

I generally enjoy the F2P concept, it’s just it can end up costing you more in the long run. (of course that is partially the point, companies know they can make more money if they get people into their game first.)
