Dead Island Map App is a cheat sheet for collectibles

News iPhone Deep Silver

If you are wandering around in the world of Dead Island then you should know that the game has quite a large map to navigate. Of course there are maps online you could look at but how about a bite sized map that sits right on your iPhone. Also how about if that map showed the locations of all different kinds of collectibles in the game, ranging from audio diaries, ID cards and Banoi Herald journals.

The app is going to cost $2.99 which unfortunately seems a bit pricey, but the map is certainly a handy little tool that makes for uninterruptable gameplay. Of course, when the location of the collectibles is posted online it may take away from the value significantly. Either way though you can download the map app here.

That’s actually a really interesting idea.
I’m not going to get it right now since I don’t have enough money for the game, so there’s no point in getting the maps.

I MIGHT get it after I’ve played through the game and want to go back to find collectibles I’ve missed. Though I’m not sure at this point.

But yeah, it does seems like a neat little way to make some extra money off a game. Plus it’s cheaper than purchasing a strategy guide, and a lot of people buy those just for the maps to find collectibles.
