If you’ve been following Ignition’s El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron then you should have known that the game was meant to be released at the end of this month on July 26th, but unfortunately that won’t be the case anymore. After discovering that the game had been listed for August 16th on GameFly‘s rental schedule we contacted the company as to why this could be.
They responded saying that the game has indeed been pushed back to an August 16th release and the reason for it was that they had encountered “Unforeseen logistical issues.” This news is a bit surprising for a full delay, considering the game was only two weeks from release. Those in Europe will be happy to know however that the release date for the PAL version of the game is still set for September 9th and they shouldn’t experience any delay.
