PS Vita gameplay and hands-on at E3 and interview with Paul Lovell from Big Big Studios

PS Vita Sony Videos Previews Interviews Casual E3 2011 Arcade

What E3 trip could be complete without getting our hands on the PS Vita? Well my hands were definitely on it in the video interview below. We managed to talk to Paul Lovell, game developer from Big Big Game Studios who are developing Little Deviants for the PS Vita which will be released as a launch title when the PS Vita is released somewhere down the line.

In the video below you will hear MasterAbbott interviewing Mr. Lovell on the various features that the PS Vita has as well as see how responsive all of the controls are on the newly revealed handheld. The PS Vita’s touch screen controls are certainly very responsive but I can see games that focus heavily on the back touch screen being hard to get used to because it is difficult to match your finger position with the thing you have to tap on the front of the screen, as seen in the fourth to last game, House of Whacks, which you can see five minutes into the video below. Let us know what you think of the PS Vita now that it has been fully revealed and of the video below!

As a big fan of anime and games I'll be quick to cover anything that happens to be of interest.
  • Codeine

nice video. I would’ve attempted to steal it :p

  • Seriously the Vita looks sexy. The visuals look amazing and the rear touch feature is impressive I can see some innovations in game design taking place on this handheld. My only concern is that sony is going to be asking for too much in terms of price. This handheld has some real potential to be a success if it stays competitive with the 3DS in terms of pricing.
