News for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning has been slowly increasing for some time now but today EA came forward with a whole new trailer for the fantasy title that gave us a better look at the tale within. Taking the role as a fallen soldier who has recently been “reborn”, the player must set out on a journey for revenge against the being that ended his life as well as to save the land of Amalur once and for all.
Right off, I really liked how this trailer spent a few seconds at the beginning to show off the bright and beautifully designed scenery in the game. A bit of combat is also shown that comes off to me to be a very appealing combination of Fable and Oblivion, which honestly makes perfect sense as Reckoning is being developed by Ken Rolston, who had a heavy hand in the two previous Elder Scrolls titles. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is due out sometime next year for the Xbox 360, PS3, & PC.
