While some gamers may have been disappointed that the 3DS remake of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time didn’t make it in time for the new portable’s launch, the gap is closing between now and the game’s June release date. With about six weeks to go until release, now seems to be about the time that Nintendo is going to kick its marketing into full gear, ensuring maximum hype for the most highly anticipated 3DS title. The Nintendo Channel just got a new trailer for the game which shows off its new layer of polish in the graphics department.
Even though Ocarina of Time is approaching its 13th birthday, the N64 classic hasn’t lost any of its original charm as it enters its teenage years. Its true that the game which has been called the best of all time has already been released several times on Nintendo platforms, but that doesn’t diminish the quality of Link’s quest in Hyrule at all. When it comes right down to it, marketing and reviews aside, Zelda fans are probably going to pick this up day one to fill the gap in their lives until Skyward Sword comes out this fall.
