Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet Coming to XBLA

Xbox 360

Look! It’s a video! Everyone loves videos!

Wow! That looks really cool! In the beginning it looked kinda slow and boring but then it sped up and became pretty hectic didn’t it?

Well, the developers of Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet have announced that the game will be coming to XBLA. They have not stated a release date, nor have they stated an estimated price.

this game and just about every other arcade game i have seen thats coming out look amazing and i love the look of this one

  • PlayingMantis

I want it…The style and animation is amazing, hope the game really delivers when it comes out. Reminds me a bit of the Xbox LIVE Indie Game, “Soul”, except this one seems fun.

  • skull_x_man

Pretty cool. The style and animations kinda looks like Loco Roco and Patapon, and that’s a good thing, cuz both games had their charm in a way. Seems like there are lots of arcade titles comin this summer, Shank, Limbo, SE Monkey Island 2…gotta stock up on MSP =D

That looks like it could be quite neat. It has a really nice art style.
Now it just remains to speculate on what the price might be. If it isn’t too expensive I might think about it.

It really looks a lot like Loco Roco and Patapon, but that helps since that style was sooo good. This remembers a lot some old Atari games if they had a new paint these day, the gameplay itself is really close to some classic games.

This art style seem to be the new thing, and I really don’t like it much at all.

    That being said…

XBLA means demos, so I there is no reason not to give it a try. I have been surprised before.

  • @versapak

do you mean side scroller gameplay? or do you literally mean art style?

Because a lot of games recently have had quick paced side scroller game play because it is the general “Flash Developers Game Style”, and a lot of the devs that create side scrollers originally started in flash, most notably the Behemoth.

  • This game was extremely popular on this other website I was looking at. I didn’t know anything about it before then. Looks cool but I don’t know if that kind of gameplays is my favorite.
